Note: Dutch sport played on a course that measures 17.5 metres long and 5 metres wide, marked with looping scoring lines and ornate wooden posts at each end. First played on ice, then on enclosed courses. Players hit a ball over a certain distance, the first to reach their opponent's starting point wins. The sport's popularity has declined since the late 20th century.

| Dutch ..... Een Nederlandse sport die wordt gespeeld op een baan van 17,5 bij 5 meter, gemarkeerd met kromme scorelijnen en met een versierde houten pilaar aan elk uiteinde. De sport werd aanvankelijk op ijs gespeeld, en later op een afgesloten baan. De spelers slaan een bal over een bepaalde afstand, en de eerste die het startpunt van de tegenstander bereikt, wint. De populariteit van de sport is sinds eind 20e eeuw afgenomen. |
