Note: Borehole heat exchangers are used to extract heat stored in the ground by means of a vertical borehole with a “closed loop” collector installation with the help of a geothermal heat pump. A collector hose filled with a carrier fluid is installed in the borehole which is drilled into a geothermal aquifer. This circulating carrier fluid absorbs heat from the surrounding bedrock, which is then extracted by the heat pump for use in space-heating via piping connected to the heat exchanger.

| Dutch ..... Aardwarmtesondes worden gebruikt om in de opgeslagen warmte te winnen door middel van een verticaal boorgat met een 'gesloten' collectorinstallatie, met behulp van een aardwarmtepomp. Een verzamelslang gevuld met transportvloeistof wordt aangebracht in het boorgat, dat in een geothermische waterhoudende grondlaag is geboord. De circulerende transportvloeistof absorbeert warmte uit het omringende gesteente, die vervolgens wordt gewonnen door de warmtepomp. Met deze warmte kan een ruimte worden verwarmd door middel van een pijpleiding die op de warmtewisselaar is aangesloten. |
