Note: Sliding wooden shutters, translated roughly as "rain panels", that would slide in front of the doorways at night or during bad weather and were stored in special storage boxes attached to the wall of the building when not in use. They first appeared in the late 16th century and were found on a variety of buildings from temples to personal houses.

Chinese (traditional) ..... 在夜間或天候不佳時,滑推至門口前的滑推式木製遮窗板,須使用時,則存放於附在建築牆面的特製存放盒中。可粗略翻譯為「擋雨板」。亞曼多首先出現於十六世紀晚期,從廟宇到私人住所等各種不同建築物中均可見。 
Dutch ..... Verschuifbare houten blinden. De term betekent zoiets als ���regenpanelen'. Men schoof ze 's nachts of tijdens slecht weer voor deuropeningen, en wanneer ze niet werden gebruikt, bewaarde men ze in speciale bakken aan de muren van het gebouw. Men ging ze in de late zestiende eeuw gebruiken in verschillende soorten gebouwen, van tempels tot woonhuizen.
