Note: Refers to prints made by combining carborundum with synthetic resin or varnish; this mixture is then hardened on a plastic or metal support and various heated tools are used to cut lines. This type of print was invented in the 1960s by the French artist Henri Goetz (1909-1989), who noticed that carborundum provided an ink-holding 'tooth.' Many corborundum prints resemble intaglio prints.

| Dutch ..... Verwijst naar afdrukken die worden gemaakt door het combineren van carborundum met kunsthars of vernis. Dit mengsel wordt verhard op een plastic of metalen steun, waarna verschillende verhitte gereedschappen worden gebruikt om lijnen te snijden. Deze druktechniek werd in de jaren 60 van de 20ste eeuw uitgevonden door de Franse kunstenaar Henri Goetz (1909-1989), die ontdekte dat carborundum als een inkthoudende 'tand' kon fungeren. Veel carborundumdrukken lijken op intagliodrukken. |

Se refiere a estampas hechas mediante la combinación de carborundo con resina sintética o barniz; esta mezcla es endurecida sobre un soporte de plástico o metal y usada por medio de varias herramientas que emplean calor, para cortar líneas. Este tipo de estampa fue inventada en 1960 por el artista francés Henri Goetz (1909-1989), quien se percató que el carborundo deja una huella entintada dentada. Muchas estampas de carborundo parecen estampas al intaglio.
