Note: A secondary warp that binds weft floats. In weft-faced compound woven textiles, the binding warp binds the weft. In woven textiles with more than one weft, the binding warp's primary function is to bind specifically the brocading weft or pattern weft, thus making a supplementary binding.

| Chinese (traditional) ..... 交織緯紗浮紋的第二層經線。在緯面混合紡織品中，接結經線是用來繫起緯線。若紡織品的緯線超過一束以上，則接結經線的主要功用則是專門用於繫結錦緞緯或花紋緯，作為輔助的接結 |
| Dutch ..... Een secundaire ketting die vlotters bindt. In complex weefsel met twee elkaar aanvullende kettingstelsels en twee of meer gelijkwaardige inslagstelsels, bindt het bindkettingstelsel de inslag. In weefsel met meer dan één inslag is de primaire functie van het bindkettingstelsel om het brocheerinslagstelsel of flotteerinslagstelsel te binden, om zo een aanvullende binding te maken. |
