Algemene aanduiding voor het reproduceren van relatief vlakke originelen, meestal documenten, met behulp van een machine waarmee een lichtgevoelig proces wordt toegepast, en die meestal voor reproducties zorgt op een één-op-één schaal. In het begin en halverwege de twintigste eeuw werd de term nog gebruikt voor een aantal verschillende processen, sinds het midden van de twintigste eeuw wordt de term eigenlijk uitsluitend gebruikt in verband met xerografisch procédés. |
