Dutch ..... Gelatineuze proteïne die zijdevezels aan elkaar hecht in de cocon. Sericine wordt samen met fibroïne door het insect uitgescheiden. De stof wordt bij de productie van textiel gewoonlijk verwijderd door de ruwe zijde in zeep en water te koken. |
