Record Type: concept
hydrogen sulfide (sulfide (material), sulfur compounds, ... Materials (hierarchy name))

Note: Toxic, flammable, colorless gas that smells like rotten eggs. Hydrogen sulfide may be created by decay of organic matter or obtained as a byproduct of refining carbonaceous fuels such as natural gas, crude oil, and coal. As an atmospheric pollutant, hydrogen sulfide blackens lead pigments, and tarnishes silver.

Terms:
hydrogen sulfide (preferred,C,U,English-P,D,U,N)
hydrogen sulphide (C,U,English,UF,U,U)
sulfereted hydrogen (C,U,English,UF,U,U)
sulfur hydride (C,U,English,UF,U,U)
sewer gas (C,U,English,UF,U,U)
sulphuretted hydrogen (C,U,English,UF,U,U)
