Chinese (traditional) ..... 動物種類多樣的門,包括蛤、貽貝、扇貝、牡蠣以及鳥蛤;亦包括蛞蝓、蝸牛、鸚鵡螺、墨魚、烏賊以及章魚。其身體上覆蓋一層軟膜,可分泌出碳酸鈣形成硬殼,包住全部或部分的身體。海水、淡水中以及陸地上存有不同種類的軟體動物。 
Dutch ..... Stam van diverse dieren zoals oesters, mosselen, sint-jakobsschelpen en kokkelschelpen, maar ook naaktslakken, huisjesslakken, nautilussen, inktvissen, pijlinktvissen en octopussen. Weekdieren zitten soms geheel of gedeeltelijk in een schaal van calciumcarbonaat, dat wordt afgescheiden door een zachte laag op het lichaam. Weekdieren vindt men in zout water, zoet water en op het land.
