Note: Refers to the last phase of French Gothic architecture, from about 1370 to the 16th century, as described by antiquarian Arcisse de Caumont (1802-1873). The style is characterized by an intensification and evolution of trends in advanced Rayonnant, including the use of leaner, lighter, frailer structures, the abolition of capitals, the addition of subsidiary ribs to form star-like patterns in the vaults, wider arcades with occasionally flattened curves, tracery in which reverse curves are opposed to create a flame-like shape, and pattern that is applied more extensively to the exterior of the structure.

| Dutch ..... Verwijst naar de laatste fase van de Franse gotische architectuur, van circa 1370 tot de 16de eeuw, zoals beschreven door de oudheidkundige Arcisse de Caumont (1802-1873). De stijl wordt gekenmerkt door een intensivering en evolutie van ontwikkelingen in het late Rayonnant, waaronder het gebruik van slankere, lichtere en kwetsbaarder constructies, het afzien van kapitelen, de toevoeging van steunribben om stervormige patronen in de gewelven te vormen, bredere arcades met af en toe platte gebogen lijnen, maaswerk waarin tegenoverliggende gebogen lijnen een vlampatroon vormen, en meer uitgewerkte patronen aan de buitenzijde van het bouwwerk. |

O estilo é caracterizado por uma intensificação e evolução das tendências em Rayonnant avançado, incluindo o uso de estruturas mais esguias, mais leves e mais frágeis, a abolição de capitéis, a adição de nervuras subsidiárias para formar padrões em forma de estrela nas abóbadas, arcadas mais largas com ocasionalmente curvas achatadas, rendilhado em que as curvas reversas se opõem para criar uma forma de chama e padrão que é aplicado mais extensivamente ao exterior da estrutura. |
