Een thermoplastische hars die in water oplost of uitzet en na een verloop van tijd onoplosbaar kan worden als gevolg van het ontstaan van onderlinge bindingen; het wordt hoofdzakelijk gebruikt als emulgator, hechtmiddel en laagjes die bestendig zijn tegen oplossing en slijtage. Het wordt ook gebruikt voor het maken van gegoten en geëxtrudeerde producten en polyvinylacetaal. |
| Spanish ..... Resina termoplástica soluble o que aumenta de volumen en agua y que pasa a ser insoluble con el tiempo por enlaces cruzados. Se utiliza fundamentalmente en emulsificantes, adhesivos y películas resistentes a solventes y abrasión, para realizar productos moldeados y extruidos, y acetal de polivinilo.
