Additional Notes:
Dutch ..... Leren riemen die aan de schachten van werpsperen werden vastgemaakt en werden gebruikt bij het werpen, waardoor de speren krachtiger werden geworpen dan met alleen de hand mogelijk was geweest; van Grieks-Etruskische origine en later overgenomen door de Romeinen.
