| Chinese (traditional) ..... 這種椅子最早記錄在齊本德耳所撰的家具專書之中，其椅背的外形像是一個打開的扇貝；多以鍍銀方式或者是銀色塗料來裝飾，使之看起來有如珍珠母貝。 |
| Dutch ..... Ontwerp dat oorspronkelijk in Chippendale's gids voor stoelen verscheen, met een rugleuning in de vorm van een open kamschelp. Ze worden vaak met zilververguldsel versierd of zo geschilderd dat ze op parelmoer lijken. |
| Spanish ..... Diseño que apareció en un principio en el Director Chippendale para sillas con respaldo en la forma de concha festoneada abierta; a menudo decorada con plata dorada o pintada para verse como madre perla. |
