Dutch ..... Zwaardgevesten waarbij de vuistbeugel is verlengd en zich opsplitst in één of meerdere spangen die omlaag glijden in een S-vormige boog om weer aan te hechten bij de beugels boven de stootplaat. Ze werden in groten getale gemaakt in de 16e en 17e eeuw voor rapieren. |
German ..... Schwertgriff, in dem die Schutzbügels ausgebogen oder gespaltet in einer oder mehreren Stangen zu einer S-förmigen Kurve formen, um sie mit der Rapierstange am Griff zu verbinden. Sie wurden häufig für Degen im 16. und 17. Jahrhundert hergestellt. |
