Kongara Doji (Buddhist character)

Note: Attendant to Fudō-Myōō, one of the Five Kings of Brightness (Godai Myo-o) who protect and uphold Buddhist law and practices. Often depicted alongside Fudō-Myōō as a young boy, sometimes holding a sharp weapon, symbolizing the cutting away of worldly passions.
