Pact of Espino Negro (Nicaraguan-USA history, 1927)

Note: Agreement negotiated by U.S. diplomat Henry Stimson to end the Nicaraguan Civil War. The pact stipulated that the Adolfo Díaz would finish the term of exiled president Carlos Solorzáno until the U.S.-supervised elections of 1928.
