Story of Princess Mononoke (anime story, Miyazaki, 1997)

Note: Anime stories concerning a young man named Ashitaka who bravely defends his community and is wounded. Other characters include the woodland creatures led by Princess Mononoke, who battle the residents of Irontown in an attempt to preserve their once-lush forest. Only Ashitaka believes that humans and the creatures of the forest can peacefully coexist. set in the late Muromachi period (approximately 1336 to 1573) of Japan; released 1997.
