Atalanta (Greek character)

Note: In Greek mythology, a renowned, virgin, swift-footed huntress, loved by Meleager. Probably a parallel and less important form of the goddess Artemis. Traditionally, she was the daughter of Schoeneus of Boeotia or of Iasus and Clymene of Arcadia.
