Temptation of Christ (New Testament narrative)

Note: Narrative in which Jesus, after his baptism, went to the desert to fast for forty days and nights; there Satan tempted Jesus with worldly goods and power. From Luke 04, Mark 01, and Matthew 04. Many scholars believe that the details in Matthew, but not in the other two sources, originate in the Q Document.
