Note: Located in Piazza Navona in Rome, Italy; constructed for Pope Innocent X to face his family home, the Palazzo Pamphili. Topped by an ancient obelisk. The rivers represent the extent of the influence of Innocent X and the papacy in the four continents: the Nile representing Africa, the Danube representing Europe, the Ganges representing Asia, and the Río de la Plata representing the Americas.
