Descriptive Note
|
Text: View from the carport and reflecting
pool facing south into the kitchen and a bedroom/study.
Using a view camera to produce 4x5 negatives, Shulman
photographed this and other works by important Los Angeles
architects. Pierre Koenig used him exclusively. Shulman
revealed the genius of this glass and steel structure
in black and white images that play with the reflections,
textures, and tones of the house and nature.
