Note: Sundaram studied painting from 1961 to 1955 at the M.S. University of Baroda, in the western Indian state of Gujarat and at the Slade School in London from 1966 to 1968. In 1970 he returned to India and helped to develop a style of figurative painting which has come to be known as the Baroda School. |
