Scheper, Hinnerk (German painter, 1897-1957)
|
Note: Hinnerk Scheper studied mural painting at the Düsseldorf Academy and at the School of Applied Art in Bremen. He also studied at the Bauhaus in Weimar from 1919 to 1922 and served as director of the Bauhaus mural painting department in Dessau from 1925 to 1933. He painted the exterior of the Bauhaus building in Dessau from ca. 1925 to 1926. Scheper worked in Soviet Union from 1931 to 1932. From 1945 onward Scheper taught architectural painting in Berlin. |
