Note: A black-figure vase painter; his painted animals and sirens look like comical versions of those by the KX Painter. Several of his vases are made of a paler clay than the typical Attic clay but most of his work nonetheless comes from Athens. He emigrated to Boeotia where his style became somewhat coarser.
