Horejc, Jaroslav (Czech sculptor, 1886-1983)
|
Note: First studied at a technical school to become a master engraver, then at the Prague School of Decorative Arts from 1906-1910. Joined the Artěl Cooperative in 1909, the Mánes Association of Plastic Artists in 1911, and the Association of Czech Accomplishment in 1914. He participated in the Sursum exhibition of 1912. Professor at the School of Decorative Arts 1918-1948. With the firm of J. and L. Lobmeyr he designed many decorative and functional items in metal, ceramic, and glass. |
