Jencks, Charles (American architect and critic, 1939-2019, active in the United Kingdom)
|
Note: American architect and architectural historian, taught at Architectural Association, London. In 1965 he earned a master’s degree at Harvard’s Graduate School of Design, and in 1970 he received a Ph.D. in architectural history at University College London. He spent most of his adult life in England. He was influential in the identification and development of Postmodern architecture. |
