Paduano, Alexander (Italian painter, died 1596, active in Germany)
|
Note: In 1570 Paduano left Rome for Augsburg where he assisted his brother-in-law Friedrich Sustris on the decoration of the Fugger town house. Paduano has been credited with some aspects of interior decoration of Burg Trausnitz, another commission of Sustris'. He is also associated with numerous altarpieces painted throughout the 1580s. He probably died in Munich. |
