Note: Vern Blosum is a the fictional persona of a painter who created works to satirize Pop art in the early 1960s. Works created under this name were purchased by the Museum of Modern Art and appear in Lucy Lippard's 1966 book "Pop Art." The true identity of the artist remains unknown. In 2017, Essex Street gallery announced that the artist who painted the pictures, had died. His true identity remains unkown.
