Note: Known for his matte paintings for Orson Welles's "Citizen Kane," for his artwork for science fiction films of the 1950s, and for a series of paintings that depicted views from outer space and extraterrestrial environments. He also created architectural drawings and paintings for the chief engineer of the Golden Gate Bridge, 1932-1937, and renderings for the facade of the Chrysler Building in New York City, under William Van Alen. |
