Oh Jun (Korean calligrapher and government official, 1587-1666)
|
Note: Oh Jun was a calligrapher and civil official in the mid-Joseon period. He was so skilled at calligraphy that he was entrusted with the task of transcription at national events. Among all the literati who were impacted by Han Ho (1543-1605), he employed the most faithful imitation of Han's Seokbong style. Oh was a seventeenth-century calligrapher who prominently inherited Han's calligraphic style from the sixteenth century. |
