Garanger, Mark (French photographer, born 1935)
|
Note: Garanger began his photographic career in Algeria in 1960, during his time in the French Army. Commissioned by the government, he was given the assignment of photographing the native peoples of Algeria, most notably the unveiled faces of women. In 1989, Granrager traveled to Louisiana testing Kodak Ektar color film, capturing images American southerners. |
