Note: Timnaʻ was the ancient capital city of capital of the Qataban kingdom, in the area known as Wadi Bayh an. Was an important hub in the famous Incense Route, which supplied Arabian and Indian incense via camel caravan to ports on the Mediterranean Sea. Excavations indicate that Timnaʻ was destroyed by fire ca. 1st century CE, but there is further evidence of the city surviving until the end of the 2nd century CE.
