Note: The city of Villingen-Schwenningen is located on the edge of the Black Forest, east of Freiburg im Breisgau in southwestern Germany. It was granted market rights by Otto III in 999. It is noted for old town center that was laid out in 1120 and is still extant. The city produces clocks, radios, meters, furniture, cutlery, and electrical goods.
