Note: The Lusatian Mountains are located in extreme northern Bohemia in the Czech Republic, part of the Sudeten Mountains. The chain stretches from the Elbe river in the west to the Jested ridge in the east, with branches extending into Germany and Poland. In medieval times it was a center for glass making, using local quartz as raw material.
