| Chinese (traditional) ..... 色彩鮮明的桿子，通常為紅白條紋相間，高度約 7 至 8 呎，其中一端為金屬尖頭，勘測員用以標示參考點。若為刻有數字的類似儀器，則稱為「水準尺」。 |
| Dutch ..... Opvallend beschilderde stokken, meestal met elkaar afwisselende rode en witte banden, die zo'n 2 à 2½ meter hoog zijn met metalen punten aan een uiteinde en die worden gebruikt door landmeters om een referentiepunt vast te leggen. Gebruik 'niveaulatten' voor soortgelijke voorwerpen die met cijfers zijn gemarkeerd. |
