Note: Marbled paper usually prepared with five colors and then drawn with a rake or comb, and later drawn again with a fine wire comb. This produces a scalloped pattern. Dutch marbled paper is a variant of nonpareil marbled paper, with a slightly different color scheme.

| Dutch ..... Marmerpapier dat meestal wordt geprepareerd met vijf kleuren en vervolgens met een harkje of kam wordt getekend, en later met een fijne draadkam wordt nabewerkt. Hierdoor ontstaat een geschulpt patroon. Een variant van nonpareil marmerpapier is Hollands marmerpapier, dat een iets afwijkend kleurschema heeft. |
| Spanish ..... Papel jaspeado usualmente preparado con cinco colores y después dibujado con el peine de jaspear, luego nuevamente dibujado con un peine de alambre fino. Esto produce un diseño en concha. El papel marmoleado holandés es una variante del papel jaspeado nomparell, pero con una pequeña diferencia en el esquema de color. |
