| Dutch ..... Stukken ongecultiveerd land die begroeid zijn met lage vegetatie, zoals gras of struiken, doorgaans vlak zijn en een slecht afwateringssysteem hebben. De Engelse term, 'moors', wordt vooral geassocieerd met gebieden op de Britse Eilanden. Te onderscheiden van 'veenmoerassen', waar het land regelmatig nat is en bestaat uit turfachtige grond. |
