Note: Small carved wooden or ivory sculptures consisting of a figurine, often a male equestrian or a kneeling woman, and a shallow bowl. The bowl is used to hold the sixteen sacred palm nuts used in Yoruba divination rituals. Such sculptures are works of art commissioned by patrons from the carvers.

| Chinese (traditional) ..... 一種小型的木雕或象牙雕，由一個通常為騎馬男子或跪姿女子的小雕像，以及一個淺碗所構成。在西非優魯巴族(Yoruba)占卜儀式中，淺碗用來盛放十六種祭祀用的棕櫚果實。這類雕刻是由祈求占卜的贊助人，委託雕刻家製成的藝術作品。 |
| Dutch ..... Kleine uitgesneden houten of ivoren beeldhouwwerken, die bestaan uit een figuurtje - vaak een ruiter of een knielende vrouw - en een ondiepe kom. In de kom bevinden zich zestien gewijde palmnoten die worden gebruikt voor wichelaarsrituelen van de Yoruba's. Dergelijke beeldhouwwerken zijn kunstwerken die werden gemaakt in opdracht van begunstigers. |

| Portuguese ..... Pequenas esculturas esculpidas em madeira ou marfim que consistem de uma estatueta, geralmente um equitador masculino ou uma mulher ajoelhada e uma tigela rasa. A tigela é usada para colocar as dezesseis nozes sagradas usadas nos rituais de divinação Iorubás. Tais esculturas são obras de arte encomendadas por patronos de escultores. |
| Spanish ..... Pequeñas esculturas talladas en madera o márfil que consisten de una figurilla, frecuentemente una figura equestre masculina o una mujer arrodillada, y un cuenco poco profundo. El cuenco es usado para recoger las 16 nueces de las palmas sagradas usadas en rituales de adivinación yoruba. Ciertas esculturas son obras de arte comisionadas por los patrones de los talladores. |
