Note: Refers to the style of British architecture, furniture, and decorative arts during the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries that revived forms from the Jacobean period of the 17th century. Featuring curved gables, elaborate brick chimneys, and mullioned and transomed windows, Jacobean Revival architecture and decorative motifs were also mixed with Elizabethan Revival and Queen Anne styles.

Verwijst naar de stijl in de Britse architectuur, meubelmakerij en decoratieve kunsten tijdens de 19de en het begin van de 20ste eeuw, waarin vormen uit de Jacobijnse periode van de 17de eeuw opnieuw werden gebruikt. De architectuur van de Jacobean Revival, met ronde gevels, weelderige stenen schoorstenen en vensters met verticale raamstijlen en dwarsbalken, vermengde ook decoratieve motieven met de Elizabethaanse Revival en de Queen Anne-stijl. |
