Note: Refers to carved and painted wooden sculptures found in northern and central New Ireland. These figures function as a representation of ancestral or mythological beings during secret ceremonies known by the same name. The sculptures have clearly defined anatomies and sharply sculptured facial features, which give the figures a threatening appearance. Both male and female uli have exaggerated sexual organs and legs.

Chinese (traditional) ..... 指在新愛爾蘭島的北部和中部所發現的雕刻及彩繪木製雕像。這些人像在同名的秘密慶典中,用來代表祖靈或神話中的人物。雕像刻有明顯的生理結構,以及輪廓分明的臉部特徵,賦予這些人像具威脅性的外觀。男性和女性的烏利雕像皆帶有誇張顯著的性器官和雙腿。 
Dutch ..... Verwijst naar gesneden en beschilderde houten beeldhouwwerken die in het noorden en het midden van Nieuw-Ierland zijn gevonden. Deze figuren dienen als symbool voor voorouderlijke of mythologische wezens tijdens ceremonieën die onder dezelfde naam bekend staan. De anatomie van de beeldhouwwerken is zorgvuldig uitgewerkt en de gelaatstrekken zijn sterk geprononceerd, wat ze een dreigende uitstraling verleent. Zowel de mannelijke als de vrouwelijke uli hebben grote geslachtsorganen en benen. 
Portuguese ..... Refere-se às esculturas de madeira pintadas e encontradas no Norte e no Centro da Nova Irlanda. Essas figuras funcionam como uma representação de ancestrais ou seres mitológicos durante cerimônias secretas conhecidas pelo mesmo nome. As esculturas têm anatomias claramente definidas e características faciais esculpidas com precisão que dão às figuras uma aparência ameaçadora. Uli masculinos e femininos têm órgãos reprodutores e pernas exageradas. 
Spanish ..... Se refiere a esculturas en madera tallada y pintada encontrada en el norte y centro de Nueva Irlanda. Estas figuras funcionan en representación de seres ancestrales o mitológicos durante ceremonias secretas conocidas por este mismo nombre. Las esculturas poseen anatomías claramente definidas y características faciales definidas que dan a estas figuras una apariencia tenebrosa. Tanto las esculturas femeninas como masculinas uli poseen órganos sexuales prominentes y piernas.
