| Dutch ..... Hoofdpartijen van aanzienlijke stads- of buitenhuizen, naar de trant van een Frans hôtel. Ze onderscheiden zich van de zijvleugels of de zijpaviljoenen, die meestal lager en meer ondergeschikt zijn. |
| German ..... Bezeichnet den zentralen Teil eines Gebäudes gegenüber den abschließenden oder Endpavillons oder anderen Randbebauungen. Er kommt insbesondere in der französischen Architektur vor oder bei Gebäuden, die direkt von dieser Architektur abgeleitet worden sind. |
