Hierin verschilt het van een numerieke machine, die is geprogrammeerd voor één taak. In de praktijk betekent het dat een robot voor verschillende toepassingen kan worden ingezet. Een opvallend kenmerk is dat de robot bepaalde menselijke fysieke kenmerken, zoals een arm, kan hebben. |
