Note: Photographic prints having light-sensitive salts in the fibers of the paper rather than in a binder; the image is positive and is printed out rather than developed out. For positive prints specifically made by Talbot's calotype process, use the more specific "calotype prints (positive prints)." For Talbot's printed-out paper negatives, use "photogenic drawings."

Additional Notes:

Dutch ..... Fotografische afdrukken met lichtgevoelige zouten in de vezels van het papier in plaats van in een bindmiddel; het beeld is positief en wordt afgedrukt in plaats van ontwikkeld. Voor positieve afdrukken die specifiek zijn gemaakt door het calotypeproces van Talbot, gebruikt u de meer specifieke 'calotypie (positieve afdrukken)'. Gebruik voor de afgedrukte negatieven van Talbot ‘photogenic drawings (foto’s)'.

German ..... Fotografischer Abzug, bei dem die lichtempfindlichen Salze in den Fasern des Papiers anstatt im Bindemittel sind; das Bild ist ein Positiv und wird gedruckt und nicht entwickelt. Für Papiernegative, die durch Talbots patentiertes Kalotypie-Verfahren hergestellt worden sind, wird “Kalotypie” verwendet. Für Talbots ausgedruckte Papiernegative wird “Fotogenische Zeichnung” verwendet.

Spanish ..... Impresiones fotográficas cuyas sales sensibles a la luz se ubican en las fibras del papel más que en un aglutinante; la imagen es positiva y es impresa más que revelada. Use "calotipo" sólo para negativos en papel realizados con el proceso de calotipia patentado por Talbot. Use, "dibujo fotogénico" sólo para los negativos en papel impresos de Talbot.
