Note: Wood of any of several trees in the genus Chlorophora, native to the west coast of Africa. It is tough, dense, and very durable, often used in cabinetmaking and paneling as a substitute for teak. Iroko is a medium weight wood with an open-grain texture. The color is a brown with yellow streaks; used in structures, ship building, joinery, benches, and flooring.

Chinese (traditional) ..... 屬於綠柄桑屬(Chlorophora)樹木的木材,原生於非洲西岸,有時被稱為非洲或奈及利亞柚木,但實際上與柚木科並無關聯,通常用來替代柚木,並用於造船業、細木工業、以及長椅和地板材料的製造。 
Dutch ..... Hout van de boom behorende tot het genus Chlorophora, inheems aan de westkust van Afrika. Het krijgt soms de benaming Afrikaans of Nigeriaans teakhout, maar er is geen relatie met de teakfamilie. Het vervangt vaak teakhout en wordt gebruikt in de scheepsbouw, bij schrijnwerk en voor het maken van banken en vloeren. 
Spanish ..... Madera del árbol perteneciente al género Chlorophora, nativo de la costa occidental de Africa. Se le llama a veces teca africana o nigeriana, pero no tiene relación con la familia de la teca. Se usa a menudo como sustituto de la teca en la construcción de barcos, ebanistería, bancos y pisos.
