Note: Used to refer to a substance that is neither in the liquid or gaseous state but instead in the solid state. The solid state is the state of matter in which a substance does not flow perceptibly under moderate stress; has a capacity for resisting forces (as compression or tension) which tend to deform it; and under ordinary conditions retains a definite size and shape.

| Arabic ..... يستخدم للإشارة إلى مادة ليست في الحالة السائلة أو الغازية ولكن في الحالة الصلبة. الحالة الصلبة هي حالة المادة التي لا تتدفق فيها المادة بشكل ملحوظ تحت ضغط معتدل؛ لديه القدرة على مقاومة القوى (مثل الضغط أو التوتر) التي تميل إلى تشويهه؛ وفي ظل الظروف العادية يحتفظ بحجم وشكل محدد. |
