| Dutch ..... Houten platen, gemaakt van splinters of stukjes hout in plaats van complete planken. Ze worden meestal geclassificeerd naar vezelgrootte (van groot naar klein): waferboard, oriented strandboard, flakeboard, particleboard (spaanplaat) en vezelplaat, dat soms van andere cellulosevezels dan hout is gemaakt.
