Additional Notes:
Dutch ..... Vliegorganen van een vliegend dier, zoals een vogel, vleermuis of insect. Bij vogels zijn vleugels speciaal aangepaste voorledematen, bij vleermuizen (en de uitgestorven pterodactyli, enz.) verlengingen van de huid die zijn bevestigd aan aangepaste delen van de voorledematen, en bij insecten vliesachtige uitgezette delen die zijn bevestigd aan de thorax en aan de ledematen. 
German ..... Flugorgan eines flugfähigen Tieres, wie Vögeln oder Insekten. Beim Vogel sind die Flügel spezial angepasste Vordergliedmaßen, bei der Fledermaus (und dem ausgestorbenem Pterodactylus) Hauterweiterungen, die an den Vordergliedmaßen befestigt sind, bei Insekten membranartige Erweiterungen, die an den Schenkeln wie auch an der Brust befestigt sind.
