Note: Belgian lace pillow-lace worked with fine thread in large sprays. It is characterized by floral motifs that are bobbin-made and sometimes resemble tape motifs, joined by thread bars (brides). It was made from circa 1840 throughout the 19th century in Brussels and Bruges. Most examples are considered inferior to other lace produced in Brussels, however, it was inexpensive and commercially successful.

| Chinese (traditional) ..... 一種以細線縫製而成的大面積比利時枕結蕾絲。其特色在於以梭心縫製而成的花卉圖案，有時看似線帶圖案，縫製工具為針線棒（細帶）。西元1840年至十九世紀產於布魯塞爾與布魯日。一般認為在布魯塞爾生產的蕾絲優於公爵夫人花邊，但後者因價格便宜反而備受歡迎。 |
| Dutch ..... Verwijst naar een Belgische kloskant die is bewerkt met fijne draad in grote corsages. Duchesse-kant wordt gekenmerkt door gekloste bloemenmotieven die soms lijken op 'tape-motieven' en zijn verbonden door strepen. Het werd vanaf 1840 in de 19de eeuw gemaakt in Brussel en Brugge. De meeste voorbeelden worden beschouwd als inferieur aan andere kant die in Brussel werd gemaakt, maar deze kant was goedkoop en een commercieel succes. |
| German ..... Belgische Klöppelspitze, die mit feinem Faden in breiten Sträußen angefertigt wird. Sie ist gekennzeichnet durch florale, geklöppelte, manchmal Bandmustern ähnelnden Motiven, die durch eine Fadenführung verbunden sein können. Sie wurde seit etwa 1840 das ganze 19. Jahrhundert hindurch in Brüssel und Brügge hergestellt. Viele Beispiele werden als minderwertig im Vergleich zu anderer in Brüssel hergestellter Spitze angesehen, allerdings war sie preiswert und ein Verkaufserfolg. |
| Spanish ..... Se refiere a encaje belga trabajado en una almohadilla de encaje con finos hilos en largos ramilletes. Se caracteriza por presentar motivos florales que son hechos en bobinas y algunas veces motivos reensamblados unidos por barras de hilos (bridas). Fue realizado en Bruselas y Brujas desde aproximadamente 1840 hasta el todo el siglo XIX. Muchos ejemplares son considerados inferior a otros encajes producidos en Bruselas, sin embago, era económico y comercialmente exitoso.
