| Dutch ..... Verwijst naar de stijl in de kunstnijverheid van 1799 tot 1805 tijdens het eerste consulaat van Napoleon. De stijl zet het neoclassicisme van het Directoire voort, maar onderscheidt zich door zwaardere vormen, overdadig gebruik van draperieën en de introductie van Egyptische motieven geïnspireerd door de veldtochten van Napoleon in Egypte. |
