Note: A noncrystalline massive rock with aggregate filler and a matrix of 98% calcium carbonate in gray and buff colors; it is an oolitic limestone with small round grains resembling fish roe. Almost half of all the limestone used in the United States in block form is Indiana limestone.

| Chinese (traditional) ..... 一種由骨材填充而成的非晶質巨型岩石，其基岩有98%為碳酸鈣，呈灰色及淺黃褐色。屬於鮞狀石灰岩，顆粒小且圓，狀似魚子。美國境內所用的塊狀石灰岩幾乎有一半是印地安那石灰岩。 |
| Dutch ..... Een niet-kristallijnen massieve steen, gevuld met aggregaat en een matrix van 98% calciumcarbonaat in grijs of vaalgeel. Het is een oölitische kalksteen met kleine ronde korrels die op kuit lijken. Bijna de helft van alle kalksteen die in de Verenigde Staten in blokvorm wordt gebruikt, is Indiana-kalksteen. |
| Spanish ..... Roca masiva no cristalina con un relleno de agregado y una matriz de carbonato de calcio al 98%, de color gris y ante. Es una caliza oolítica con pequeños granos redondas que asemejan huevos de pescado. Casi la mitad de la caliza utilizada en Estados Unidos en forma de bloques es caliza de Indiana.
